WEEK TWO (2)


Bismillahirrahmanirrahim. 

I plan to buy components for my circuit. So, I need to know details for each component. For EOG circuit, I use:
1.  LM7805
2. LM358
3. INA126
4. 9V battery
5. Capacitors
6. Resistors

The figure is the EOG circuit which I use for this project. 

There are a few components I had change due to some difficulties to get it. TLV247XA I change to LM358. The datasheet for   LM7805, LM358, INA126 and TLV247XA is searched and studied. The pin configuration, the supply power and the IC itself is being compared and contrast.

WEEK ONE (2)

Bismillahirrahmanirrahim.

As this semester begins, I need to start all of the designation and construction of my Final Year Project’s circuit. So, I need to prepare all of the components needed for the circuit construction.

As this week start, I am doing research about the electrodes which I will use for the input of my circuit. 


Surface electrodes detect biopotential signals from the body and transmit the signals through connector. Biopotential is an electric quantity of voltage or current or field strength, caused by chemical reactions of charged ions. Another use of the term lies in describing the transfer of information between and within cells, as in signal transduction. Biopotential is an electric potential that is measured between points in living cells, tissues, and organisms, and which accompanies all biochemical processes. Also describes the transfer of information between and within cells. 




Surface electrode is a conductor or medium by which an electric current is conducted to or from any medium, such as a cell, body, solution, or apparatus. For this project, the electrode is place at five different part of eye area. Two at left and right of the eyes, another two at upper part and lower part of either left or right eye. The last electrode is placed in the middle of forehead. I had explained this before. Usually, Ag-AgCl (silver-silver chloride) electrode type used because of it produces the lowest and most stable junction potentials.

The surface electrode is then connected to a circuit which will amplify the small signal received from the biopotential signal of eyes. The figure is the types of surface electrode used in biopotential recordings.
